Supercrawl Roving Omar Khadr Vigil - September 13, 2013

On Friday, September 13, 2013, members of the Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, accompanied by independent photographers, conducted a roving vigil to bring attention to the detainment of Omar Khadr, who faced court appearance and a birthday later that month. Wearing orange prison outfits and black hoods, like Omar (and so many nameless detainees), the activists conducted a roving vigil throughout Hamilton's Supercrawl. Stopping at the CBC Hamilton offices, the vigil was photographed and added to the CBC Twitter. Members of the vigil also gave short speeches.
